As it works to scale its annual production capacity from around 700,000 units in 2025 to approximately one million units by 2026, Zinox El Zenouki, one of Egypt's leading manufacturers of stainless steel cookware, is taking part in the 139th edition of the Canton Fair in Guangzhou, China, running from 23 to 27 April 2026. The participation is being coordinated with the Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EEC) and forms part of a wider plan to convert that capacity expansion into export volume across Asia, Eastern Europe and the Gulf.

Zinox El Zenouki operates under El Zenouki Group, an Egyptian industrial group established in 1964 that today specialises in stainless steel cookware for local, regional and international markets.

Scaling capacity to meet export demand

Zinox El Zenouki is targeting an increase in annual production capacity to approximately one million units by 2026, up from around 700,000 units in 2025 — a roughly 43% capacity uplift in a single year. The expansion plan covers product development, manufacturing capability upgrades, and geographic growth, with the Canton Fair participation positioned as one of the primary mechanisms for converting the additional capacity into committed export volume.

Mahmoud El Zenouki, Chief Executive Officer of Zinox El Zenouki, described the participation as a strategic milestone within a broader expansion plan aimed at opening new export channels and reaching a wider base of international buyers. He noted that the Canton Fair brings together leading manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors of cookware and raw materials from around the world, providing a direct platform in front of the global B2B buying community.

"The Canton Fair is one of the most important international gatherings in the cookware sector," El Zenouki said, "providing a real opportunity to showcase Egyptian industrial capabilities to the global business community."

A specialist in stainless steel cookware

Zinox El Zenouki specialises in stainless steel cookware a segment of the global cookware industry where competitive positioning rests on metal quality, base construction, heat distribution, and long-term durability. The company's positioning combines Egyptian manufacturing economics with product specifications oriented toward markets that prioritise the longevity and food-safety profile of stainless steel over coated alternatives.

This product mix is well-suited to the Canton Fair's Phase 2 focus on housewares and kitchenware, which is the largest concentrated B2B audience for the cookware category in the world during the spring exhibition window and a particularly important venue for stainless steel manufacturers, where buyer specifications and certification requirements are negotiated directly.

Targeting non-traditional Asia and Eastern Europe

Through the Canton Fair, Zinox El Zenouki is working to deepen its presence in non-traditional Asian markets and to build on the early foothold the company has established in Eastern Europe a region where the price-to-quality positioning of Egyptian stainless steel cookware competes effectively against Turkish and Chinese alternatives. The exhibition is also being used to engage directly with new importers and to build long-term distributor partnerships that support sustainable export growth.

Diversifying supply chains alongside markets

Beyond the buyer side, Zinox El Zenouki is using the Canton Fair to strengthen relationships with raw material suppliers and industrial partners. El Zenouki noted that ongoing shifts in global supply networks have made supplier diversification a competitive necessity, and that direct presence at major international exhibitions is the most efficient way to build that resilience. In parallel, the company is restructuring its supply and distribution channels to align with the requirements of different export markets, with a focus on lowering logistics costs and improving operational efficiency.

A global strategy building on Ambiente Frankfurt

The Canton Fair participation continues a sequence that included Zinox El Zenouki's presence at Ambiente in Frankfurt earlier in 2026, which reinforced the global positioning of Egyptian cookware in European markets. In the next phase, the company plans to deepen its presence in U.S. and European markets while continuing to explore new opportunities across Asia, taking advantage of a global trade environment in which buyers are actively diversifying their sourcing.
